New belly pics up.
Not much going on here this weekend. I need to remember to share about Maya's first blood draw (since she was an infant) and the birthday party she had us throw for Jesus on Friday. Coming soon!

I'm trying to keep up here, really!
We spent a long weekend in Pittsburgh. Jason took off Friday and Monday. It was nice to get away (the last time we'll go that far until post-baby) and great to re-connect with our future hometown. We were again hosted by Jason's supervisor (Chloe) and her housemates. They were [...]

I've no idea where she learned this concept. Maybe it's a conglomerate of different things she's heard me say (though I'm pretty sure I've never said this phrase before). But at any rate, at lunch today, Maya looked at me and said,
“Mommy's got a cutie in her tummy!”
I just love toddlers!

Why is it that nothing is shipping to me in a timely fashion? And no online retailers are replying to my polite emails, inquiring as to why my product *still* isn't here?

(I later discovered she had wet through her diaper onto her pants, something she nearly never does.) I let her jabber with herself for a while, as I usually [...]

Why is it that my children enjoy filling my abdominal cavity in lumpy and aesthetically odd ways while in utero? I'm starting to remember how asymmetric my belly was with Maya's pregnancy, now that our newest fetus is replicating her positions. If you're me, looking down at my belly, the uterus comes up much higher [...]

Okay, so I posted another belly pic. After looking at them all again, it appears that my belly hasn't grown since 20 weeks. Let me assure you–it has. I feel huge, and I know things are bigger. It could be the angles, or the not-so-professional editing that the pictures undergo by yours truly.
For instance, none [...]

Today has felt like an extension of the holiday season for us, as Jason had today off. Tomorrow, he goes back to work, and our little break is over. Sigh.
I finally figured out what Braxton-Hicks contractions are, now that I'm most of the way through my second pregnancy. In hindsight, I had them through Maya's [...]
