I just stumbled upon this free tutorial today:
Tiny Happy Bag
Scroll through the links to find links to commenter’s pictures of their bags. I think it will make a great diaper bag! I’ve been using the same generic navy blue Eddie Bauer diaper bag from Target for almost five years! Blah. I think I’ll use some [...]

surprising lead paint recall
Posted in green living, health, lead on August 22, 2007 | 2 Comments »
I suppose nothing should surprise me when it comes to lead paint recalls, but this one does. The spiral binding on these notebooks (and more) contains lead paint! It seems nothing is safe.
(Other surprising recalls I’ve discovered in the past include lead paint on snaps, zippers, and fasteners of name brand clothing, in addition to [...]

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers for our health. Things are on an upswing, for sure. The girls seem totally normal, and I’m eating again. That’s something. Your continued prayers for my body’s return to health and for my patience and endurance through sick, pregnant parenting are much appreciated!
I’m going [...]

This bug, whatever it is, will not leave me be. I’m still running to the bathroom all day (sorry if that’s TMI; honestly, that was the super-edited version) and feeling just plain awful. I keep making myself eat crackers and fruit and drink fluids to keep myself out of the ER again, but it just [...]

Keeping busy here. Here’s quick update on the kids:
Elly
She has a high fever this morning. Please pray for her to feel better and heal quickly.
Somehow, she’s got herself almost all potty trained! It was really unexpected for me, and a wonderful blessing. I was waiting until closer to spring, when she turns three. I [...]

Not much time for a full write up on this knicker sewing experience, either, but here are some pics, a quick summary, and links at the bottom. To protect the kids, no pictures of their faces will be shown (since they’re wearing some pervy googler-worthy stuff). To see all the cute pics, go to this [...]
