I found a Vera Bradley tote for $4 at the thrift store, and it’s big enough to carry loads of cloth diapers along with all the other things I need. It has 6 pockets inside that I use to organize all of the little stuff inside and a pocket on the outside where I store my cell phone. The straps aren’t adjustable, but they’re long enough to slide over the handlebar of my stroller. I looked and looked at diaper bags and am so glad I ran across this non-traditional option.

Because the construction looks very, very simple, I think a moderately skilled seamstress could knock one out in an afternoon. Good luck finding what you need!

i really like the last bag, and am thinking of talking someone into sewing one for me! i’ve been on the prowl for a diaper bag big enough for Cd’ing, and it’s about impossible to find!

We simply use a backpack that my college roommate gave me, and though it doesn’t have a lot of pockets (which it would be nice to have one more, I think) being a Jansport, if it breaks, you can send it back to have it fixed (and you get cool postcards from your backpack saying how he’s enjoying camp, and the showers are nice and hot, but there isn’t much food, and he’s hoping to come home in a week or so).
