If you ever go to the beach with your children, please read this, written by earthchicknits (a friend-of-a-friend that I met at a wedding once–and a darn good crafter, too).
Such an important reminder.

WOW!!! That is horrifying. Praise God he is okay! Such a good thing to remember especially growing up in a beach town and being comfortable with the beach! Thanks for sharing.
What a story. I think this story was actually in the Reader’s Digest (I think the Nov ’07 issue?). There was a story in that issue about a young woman who helped rescue a young boy named Rob who was buried in the sand at the beach. While everyone else was looking for him in the water, she had felt an “urge” (umm…God?) to tell her to look in the sand.
Praise God he was okay!
